Instead of paying someone to make me a large cake, I've decided to take on the challenge myself and make a small 2 tiered cake for Justin and I to cut and then have cupcakes (italian cream cake with cream cheese icing! yum!) for the majority of the bridal cake. Here is a sneak peek of the cupcake plates that I made. This is the only one that is finished, but more soon to come!
I spray painted a bronze candle holder and glued a Corelle dinner plate on top. There will be 2 tall candle holders with a dinner plate atop it and 2 short candle holders with salad plates atop. The small cake stand will be in the middle and then 1 short and 1 tall cake plate will be on either side of the cake stand.
