It will be 3 square tiers covered in white fondant. I wanted buttercream, but fondant will travel better-no fear of melting! Each tier will be 4 layers. The cake will be french vanilla and have strawberry filling. The first and third tiers will have the little swirls piped on and the middle tier will have the dots. The first tier will be saved for our first year anniversary, the second tier will be a dummy tier, and the third tier will be the cake that will be cut and served to guests. The bakers wanted to do it this way so I could still have a 3 tiered cake but wouldn't have an over abundance of cake left over since we'll have the italian cream cupcakes and the grooms cake. We should have about 150 servings total with all the cakes. The base of each tier will have brown fondant surrounding it. The pink hydrangeas will be scattered around each tier. The Willow Tree cake topper will rest on top and little pink blooms and daisies will surround it. I love it and it is going to look and taste fabulous!
